Brief Description:

The lack of understanding Aircraft Systems is one of many reasons that are part of the causal factors in General Aviation Instructional and Solo Flight Accidents. This seminar is open to all of the AREA Pilots, this presentation will help the pilot recognize these gaps and tie these issues together by giving the pilot the tools to gain a better understanding of aircraft systems, available resources and pointers. Jurg Grossenbacher, Milwaukee FAA, will lead this discussion and answer your questions.

 Tying it all together:

    1. System Knowledge- POH

    2. Hands on by visiting  the Maintenance Shop

    3. Having your Aircraft Mechanic come to ground school

    4. Learning the aircraft Systems before you give Dual Instruction

         A. Basic aircraft systems review with the owner

         B. Reviewing POH, STCs, Maintenance Records
