FIRC is a recurrent ground training program designed to improve pilot knowledge and competence. It is a structured, interactive, self-study review and certification program delivered via the Internet.
Gleim's FIRC primarily enhances your knowledge level while also renewing your flight instructor certificate. Gleim's system does not just fill the time requirement without regard to content. Rather, Gleim's FIRC makes individuals analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information to help them become better instructors and pilots. FIRC requires 16 hours of participation.
