Aerodyne Flight Center's Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) is accomplished utilizing our Full Motion Redbird FMX Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) and then flying our Cessna 182Q aircraft or your own aircraft. To meet the Instrument Proficiency Check per CFR 61.57(d), a straight-in or circle to land approach and landing must be accomplished in an airplane. Or, substitute you aircraft for all the flight activities including those listed below in our Redbird AATD. Allow for more time to complete.

Our Redbird FMX AATD can be configured for G-1000 or Avidyne/Garmin 430 GPS avionics, or a standard 6-pack with round gauges and KLN94 GPS. Cirrus SR22T with a sidestick, or standard Cessna yoke. Throttle quadrant to match.
ACS Instrument Rating book and the FAA Advisory Circular AC-61-98C (IPC) are the reference materials used for the ground and flight requirements to complete the IPC.
NOTE: Completion of any phase of WINGS meets the requirements of a Flight Review.
