"Safe practices for the Arizona Backcountry Pilot"

Description:

Attendees will learn about the opportunities for airplane camping within the state and the hazards associated with flying into our backcountry strips.  They will also learn the procedures and techniques pilots can use when operating away from paved airstrips.  Dave Dunteman is a frequent speaker on the safe techniques and practices to use when operating out of Arizona's Backcountry Strips.  In addtion, he has conducted numerous fly-in events for pilots to practice and refine their backcountry skills in a controlled beign evironment.
