During this presentation we will discuss regulations for operating your sUAS (Drone) in a safe and legal manner.   Bring your questions, not your drone.

Desi Ekstein, is an Adjunct Instructor of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) also known as Drones.  She is known in the Unmanned Aviation Industry as “Drone Diva Desi”.  She is a FAA Certified 107 Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC), FAA UAS/Drone Safety Representative in San Diego, AUVSI San Diego Board member as well as a AUVSI TOP Level 3 pilot.   She is a UAS Operations instructor at TCI Mira Costa College.   Desi is also involved with many STEM/STEAM and other outreach programs such as, Elementary Science Institute (EIS) “Girls Take Flight” as part of a young female STEM program.
