Brief Description:

Nobody starts their day planning for an accident using these battery powered tools, it just happens, and it's completely avoidable. This presentation is about a very real situation that took place here in Northern California.

 

Chuck Jones, FAASTeam Program Manager (Airworthiness) at the San Jose FSDO holds an Airframe and Power Plant certificate with Inspection Authorization and Private Pilot and he was also a Designated Mechanic Examiner prior to joining the FAA. He has over forty two years of experience working on and flying both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

Directions to Venue:

Pilots who fly in should park in transient parking on the opposite side of the field and expect to walk about 10 minutes (.5 mile) to the Flight Center. Suite 215 is upstairs in the northwest corner. On occasion, rides may be prearranged through San Carlos Aviation and Supply.
