We have a variety of speakers and topics for you. Please feel welcome to attend any single talk or stay for the whole day (lunch is served). Syracuse Safety Stand Down is a long-time tradition. Please grab a flying buddy and join us Saturday, February 29th.
David St. George will discuss "Loss of Control the Startle Response" SYR-ATC specialist Sandy Gregiore will talk about "ADS-B, ever-changing UAS operations, and SYR taxiway reconfiguration". DPE Rob Belisario will talk about "Pet Peeves during flight tests-FAR 91.213 "Can I fly with inop equipment?" CFI Gene Benson will speak on "Human Factors Relating to Mental Inertia". AOPA Northeast Ambassador Norm Isler will speak on "Operations at Non-Towered Airports" and local pilot and FAASTeam Rep Jeff Kleinwaks will be speaking on "Weather Sources".
