Directions to Venue:
In Mesa, exit off of the 60 freeway at Superstition Springs Blvd. South, continue south until Ray Rd. (approximately 7 miles). Turn left on Ray Rd. and follow the signs to the Symposium. Gilber Community College will be on the right side as you approach the flight line. Look for the large white hangars on the left. The facility will be on the other side of the road.

To attend, please signup on this website: http://www.cgc.maricopa.edu/aviation/Symposium This will be the only IA Renewal Seminar conducted by the Flight Standards District Office in Arizona.
 
There are some familiar and new methods to renew your Inspector Authorization (IA):
 
•      Mail or bring to our office, (Federal Aviation Administration FSDO, 17777 N. Perimeter Dr. Suite 101, Scottsdale, AZ 85255). A completed and signed, in duplicate, FAA Form 8610. 1, and attach a list of IA activities for the prior 12 months, or
 
•      Mail or bring to our office, (Federal Aviation Administration FSDO, 17777 N. Perimeter Dr, Suite 101, Scottsdale, AZ 85255). A completed and signed, in triplicate, FAA Form 8610.1, and a certificate of completion, of a FAA Approved IA Refresher Course, or
 
•      If you are attending The Greater Southwest Aviation Maintenance Technician Symposium - Please register at the IA desk beginning at 7:00 am each day. Classes start at 8:00 am. Please bring completed and signed, duplicate FAAForrn 8610.1. Attendance of eight classes at this Symposium qualifies a person for IA Renewal. There is no fee required for attendance at this Symposium.
