Aviation educators (CFIs) are the "safety influencers" of our aviation world. Raising our abilities improves the safety of the entire system. The SAFE CFI-PRO™ Workshop (October 2nd and 3rd at AOPA KFDK) will present the best aviation educators in the country with proven tools and techniques for making your educational skills sharper and more effective. This intense two-day workshop will also share *your* ideas and techniques during interactive break-out sessions. The SAFE "Extended Envelope" maneuvers (legal in every airplane) will be presented to help combat Loss of Control accidents by building greater confidence and proficiency in every pilot. This learning opportunity will reinvigorate your teaching and accelerate your mastery and proficiency. This intense two-day workshop includes the country's most experienced aviation educators sharing their best educational ideas and techniques. Rich Stowell, Doug Stewart, and Hobie Tomlinson are all National FAA CFIs of the Year. Other presenters include Mike McCurdy (IFR6 simulator guru), Ken Wittekiend (ProMark Aviation CFI/DPE), Billy Winburn (Community Aviation and Proficiency 365) and David St. George (MCFI/DPE)
There is a $375 charge to defray the cost of airlines and hotels for these national presenters (SAFE is an educational not-for-profit) Your contribution also includes lunch and a networking dinner (we hope you like BBQ) at the Nation Aviation Community Center There will be opportunities to tour AOPA and meet their staff. AOPA will be available at our dinner meeting.
