Brief Description:

U.S. Terminal Procedures, (TERPS), can provide valuable Information to the VFR pilot as well as the instrument pilot.  This information can aid in situational awareness, traffic avoidance, navigation and obstacle awareness as well as other information.

This seminar discusses what and where, information useful to VFR operations is contained in these publications.  TERPS are available free to anyone willing to download them from the FAA or can be purchased from various commercial sources. This is not a seminar intended to teach Instrument Pilots the use of the TERPS, rather it is to introduce the VFR pilot to a valuable source of useful information.
