PRESENTER

HEATHER METZLER holds a CFII, MEI, ATP, Commercial SEL/SES and AMES. She has flown over 100 aircraft types, including the PA-17, Citation X, the North American T-6, 450 Stearman and Cessna 195 to name a few. 

Heather has over 1000 hours of dual given, and has flown corporate, Air Taxi, and Air Carrier. She is currently FAASTeam Program Manager for the Little Rock Flight Standards District Office.

 

HOST

KAREN KALISHEK is FAASTeam Lead Representative for the Milwaukee FSDO, Master CFI, and FAA Gold Seal Instructor who holds ATP, CFI, CFII, CFIME, CFI-Glider, AGI, and IGI certificates. She recruits new FAASTeam Reps, mentors them, and organizes dozens of WINGS Safety Seminars a year. She serves as WINGSPro, responsible for promoting WINGS involvement and activities throughout Wisconsin. 

Karen is a independent CFI for private through flight instructor powered and glider candidates, in a range of aircraft including J-3 Cubs and Cirrus. She is a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), serving as a volunteer CFI, G1000 instructor, check pilot, mission pilot, cadet orientation pilot and is an officer for safety, aerospace education, public affairs, and special flight release. 

She serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Flight Instructors, is a member of the WINGS Industry Advisory Committee, COPA and is active in several other aviation organizations. kkalishek@yahoo.com
