Brief Description:

Whether flying under BasicMed or an FAA medical, all pilots are bound by the FARs regarding medication use.  If you can buy it without a prescription, it's OK to fly while taking it... right?  Maybe.  Dr. John Phillipp, Senior AME, will help guide pilots through the maze of over the counter medications.

Doctor John T. Phillipp, MD is a Senior AME for the FAA; an owner of a Cessna 182G that he keeps and regularly flies out of Brackett Field in La Verne, California.  He's rated in both Airplanes and Helicopters.
