Brief Description:

Cold Weather OPS  Presented by George Wolfe, FAASTeam Lead Representative.  "Tis the season for colder weather, which generally means better aircraft performance. However, the same cannot be said about the aircraft environment.  Ice, frost, snow, slush, and extreme temperatures make flying in cold weather a rewarding challenge.  Come see how some expert pilots operate in a real cold weather environment.  I will be presenting the AOPA Webinar, entitled "Cold Weather OPS".  Supplemental information will be provided and we will pause the presentation for discussion at various points.

Goldsboro Wayne Aviation Association provides organized "hangar flying" focused on building instrument flying, and general knowledge and skills.  The organization network promotes a safety culture through continued education and believes that safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience.  Monthly Meetings offer an opportunity to share in-flight experiences and valuable safety tips. Through the FAA Safety Program, informative WINGS presentations are offered by aviation professionals.  You do not have to be a rated instrument pilot to attend.  Membership is encouraged.  Click the link below and register TODAY!
