Jeff Rountree is the Manager of Airside Operations at John Wayne Airport. For the past 23 years, he has been responsible for the safety of day-to-day airfield operations at Orange County’s sole air carrier airport that serves approximately 10.6 million passengers annually. Mr. Rountree is responsible for ensuring that the airfield is operated in compliance with federal regulations governing airports that serve commercial air carriers.

Mr. Rountree holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Administration from Cal State Los Angeles and obtained a private pilot certificate in 1984. An avid fan of aviation history, he grew up next to Burbank Airport in the shadow of the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation.
