Title:
Thunderstorm Avoidance
Topic:
Thunderstorms and airplanes are a poor combination. The good news is...they can be avoided.
Brief Description:
Thunderstorms can produce extreme turbulence, intense rain, destructive hail, blinding lightning, tornados, and gusty winds...sometimes as far as 20 miles from the storm. The good news is...they can be avoided. We'll discuss strategies and practical experience to develop tools you can put in your airman toolbox to help you make safe aeronautical decisions in regards to flying and thunderstorms.
