David Galuszka served 12 years active duty and 8 years guard/reserve in the Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. He retired from the reserves in December 2005.  His first civilian air traffic job was with SERCo, a private air traffic control company, at Troutdale (TTD) airport just east of Portland, Oregon.  In 1999 he was hired by the FAA and assigned to Portland (PDX) tower.  From there he moved on to Northern California Tracon (NCT), one of the busiest facilities in the country.  He spent 13 years there working SFO/OAK/SJC airports. He decided to try his hand in management before the end of his career. He was selected to be a Front Line Manager at RHV on March 17, 2017. He will retire from the FAA at the end of this year. It’s been a great career and his love for aviation is as strong as it was when he was a child.
