The Treasure Coast FAASTeam will host a seminar by Raul Salazar and Chris Lord. This presentation will discuss the autogyro, also known as gyroplane, or gyrocopter. It will cover the areodynamic characteristics, features and how safe they are. It will also cover the safety design features and some or the FAA's gyroplane regulations.

Raul Salazar, Ph.D. is an entrepreneur, educator and innovator. He is president and CTO of JHL Technologies, adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University, instructor at Indian River State College and FAASTeam Representative. Chris Lord, CFI, DPE is a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for gyroplanes. He was a test pilot for Cartercopters and is president/owner of Gyroplaneguy.
