Event Details and Registration

In this highly informative seminar, Major Airline Captain and Designated Pilot Examiner Adam Rosenberg will make public the statistical data he has collected administering practical tests in the era of the recently implemented Airman Certification Standards.  Going well beyond just pass/fail, Adam calls upon his extensive human factors and airline training department background to collect in depth data about airmen performance during practical tests. This de-identified data when studied in context reveals meaningful and actionable information about modern day flight training to include applicants, instructors, flight schools, testing documents (ACS/PTS) and sometimes even about the evaluator himself. 

Conducted as a town hall style meeting with no formal presentation, this seminar is intended to be an interactive discussion between Adam and the various members of the local aviation community to discuss the data, its implications, what can be gleaned from it and how you can use it to make your next hour of flying better than your last. 

This event will be held in the Main Terminal lobby on the 1st floor.

Examiners, Instructors and pilots of all ages and experience levels including student pilots are all encouraged to attend and to offer any personal experiences they have had with the airman testing process. The sharing of information and experience is part of the circular feedback loop and an integral part of an active and vibrant safety culture. Training to pass a test may or may not make a good pilot, but training to be a good pilot will prepare you for any test.
