Title:
Garmin 430/530 Refresher Class
Topic:
Enhance and refresh your knowledge in operating the Garmin 430/530.
Date and Time:
Saturday, January 6, 2018, starting at 10:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Andy Millin and Garrett Gokey
Brief Description:

This class is designed to help people move beyond simply going Direct.  There are features that can really lower the workload, if the pilot knows how to use them.  The interface on these navigators is infamously cryptic.  Typically, If you need to do something with the box and you haven’t practiced it on the ground, you aren’t going to figure it out in the air.

We will try to cover Flight Plans (including modifying an active flight plan in flight), Holding Patterns, Loading and Activating Instrument Procedures, and other questions as they arise.
