Date and Time:
Thursday, December 14, 2017, starting at 19:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Dan Emin/DPE & CFII, Mike Mullaney/FAASTeam
Brief Description:

In this presentation we will talk about our roles and instructional challenges in the 21st century. We’ll describe how the CFI Forum is a formula for success but the bulk of this session will be spent in an in-depth discussion of conducting flight reviews. Join us in the discussion of this important topic.The flight review is a golden opportunity for flight instructors as virtually every pilot will need a flight review at least once every 24 calendar months.  It is also an opportunity to help mold safer pilots and safer pilots will improve the accident rate (particularly if properly and conscientiously conducted) Perhaps the most important opportunity is that this is a chance for CFIs and DPEs to interact with one another. Join us in the discussion of this important topic.

Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, Designated Pilot Examiners, and Instructors in training are welcome and encouraged to attend. Join your flight instructor colleagues and take an active role in improving safety in flight training!  Seating is limited, so register today!
