Topic:
Using ForeFlight to Navigate LA Class Bwith Brian Schiff - 3 hour event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (refreshments served)
Brief Description:
Learn to use ForeFlight to it's full potential to plan and navigate the LA Class B airspace via the Special Flight Rules Area, Coliseum Route, Hollywood Park Route, Mini Route, and Coastal Route. We will plan several exemplar flights, including one from VNY to SAN.
ForeFlight is a widely and very sought after application and as such has the need for proper usage techniques for it to be valuable. It is a feature that is not always understood and if not used properly could cause very serious safety issues affecting the aviator and the National Airspace System (NAS).
