Brief Description:

The decision-making process is complicated. It requires investments of time and mental resources. It is relatively inefficient. What tools can the single pilot use to increase decision-making effectiveness, especially under emergent and stressful situations. The presentation will examine types of human behavior and decision making, and relate them to single pilot operations. The presentation will also suggest methodologies for avoiding the hazards of making decisions in emergency situations.
