Brief Description:

Everywhere you look, people are talking about how ATC needs to modernize in order to assure the U.S. continues to lead the world in the safe and efficient flow of air traffic.   What most don’t know is that the FAA has already implemented plans to achieve that goal.  This presentation reviews NEXGEN - the FAA’s plan to transition from RADAR to Satellite, and all the elements that need to be in place for this to happen.

We will also discuss the changes that Flight Service is making to meet the needs of general aviation.
