Brief Description:

This winter, the Teterboro and Allentown FAASTeams will host a 3 hour professional development seminar for all Instructors to discuss new and recurring issues in Flight and Ground Training.

Don Argintar will discuss weather theory, review tips and techniques for getting a good weather briefing, and share some insights on best practices, and differences, when teaching private students and instrument students. Immediately following the weather presentation, Craig Johnston and Greg Hill will join Don in a panel discussion on various topics including 3rd Class Medical Reform (BasicMed), student pilot vetting procedures and practice (IACRA), ADS-B mandate, slow flight training,  and changes in visual slope indicator obstacle clearance. The panel discussion is audience driven -- we want to hear your thoughts and concerns, and have you share your experiences with your colleagues.

Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, Designated Pilot Examiners, and Instructors in training are welcome and encouraged to attend. Join your flight instructor colleagues and take an active role in improving safety in flight training!
