This is a presentation and panel discussion to provide insights to the Leesburg pilot community on the Remote Control Tower project and operational information for the testing period set for October 11 - November 10, 2016 with the temporary mobile tower.
Airport management and project leaders will discuss the origins of the project, currnet and future plans, and important operational need-to-know data for the testing period with the temporary mobile tower that will control the Leesburg Airport Traffic Area.
Leesburg will establish the Leesburg Airport Traffic Area to provide VFR Tower Services ("Class D Services") for all aircraft operating at Leesburg Executive Airport during the testing period of October 11 - November 10, 2016.

Directions (from East): Take 267 (DullesToll Road / Greenway} to Leesburg. At the Battlefield Parkway exit approaching the end of the Greenway, exit and continue to the traffic signal. At the first traffic signal, turn left onto Battlefield Parkway. At the next traffic signal turn right onto Sycolin Road. Drive approximately 1/2 mile to Leesburg Executive Airport (an the right). Event will be in the Main Terminal. Aircraft parking available on ramp area.
