Brief Description:
John Fisher has over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining the Federal Aviation Administration, John's work involved upgrading surveillance systems of 40+ USAF platforms. Currently, John Manages FAA Surveillance policy such as TSO, and Advisory Circulars, related to ADS-B out/in, UAT, Mode S, and ATCRBS systems.
Mr. Fisher Will Provide an overview of Surveillance and it's quick multi-generational leap to ADS-B. He will explain the benefits of the three "IN" applications, SURF, AIRB, and ATAS, discuss equipage considerations, and provide an outline of ADS-B airspace rules.
