Jeff Chipetine will describe what happened on August 17, 2014 when his Cessna 182 RG Skylane took off from FRG and returned for landing approximately 13 minutes later with the engine and cowling on Fire.  Also, the FSDO will show you a slide show of 12 accidents in the FRG geographic area (including HPN) with explanations by Inspector/Accident Investigator Paul Gretschel.  Please join us for this informative briefing.  Click on the link below and register TODAY.

Pilot Jeffrey Chipetine will describe how he survived an in-flight fire. He will explain in detail what decisions needed to be made in order to successfully return to the airport without injury to himself or his passenger.

The FAA will present a slideshow on local accidents, many serious, with commentary from the Inspector in Charge of the accident investigations.
