The seminars will cover the subjects required by Flying Farmers Annual Proficiency Training.  Participants can receive 3 FAA WINGS credits and meet knowledge requirements for BASIC FAA Wings.

Please pre-register for EACH seminar to earn FAA Wings Credits!  Click on the link below titled "Seminar 1 of 3", "Seminar 2 of 3", or "Seminar  3 of 3" to pre-register for each individual event.

Registration:         09:30 to 10:00

Seminar 1 of 3.    10:00 to 11:30.  Subject:  Aircraft Performance and Emergency Procedures.

Seminar 2 of 3.    11:30 to 12:00 Subject: Aeronautical Decision Making. The seminar will break about noon for lunch and resume after. You must attend the entire seminar to receive FAA Wings credit.

Lunch.                12:00 to 13:00 Lunch is 'on your own'. Bring a sack lunch or eat downtown.

Seminar 2 Cont.  13:00 to 14:00 

Seminar 3 of 3. 14:00 to 15:30 Subject:  Security procedures; Interception procedures; Weather, airspace, TFRs, charts, "EFB", Regulations, and more Aeronautical Decision Making!

A special thanks to the Flying Farmers and to the Aviation Department of Big Bend Community College. 

This event consists of three separate seminars.  On site registration for this three seminar event begins at 09:30.  To assure you have a seat, please sign up (pre-register) for each individual seminar on www.faasafety.gov to receive FAA WINGS credit, as described above.   FAA WINGS credit can be earned for attending one, two, or three seminars. 

Members of Flying Farmers must attend the entire event, including all three seminars to meet the academic requirements for Project APT. 

Pilots who attend all three seminars will also fulfill the knowledge requirements for the Basic FAA Wings.  Both knowledge and flight credits are needed to earn Basic FAA Wings.  Note:  You must schedule dual instruction with a CFI to earn flight credits.  Flight credits will not be available during this event.  Pilots who earn the Basic FAA Wings will satisfy FAA requirements for a BFR.
