Chris Davis:
As an educator of wildland survival, and survival rescue application to the aviation industry, my interest in bringing this opportunity to the general public as well as aviation professionals has been a dream of mine for many years. I have spent countless hours from childhood to the present in awe of aviation and its witness to great advancements through these last few decades. I often wondered if enough was being done to educate pilots both private and corporate of the added value of having knowledge and leadership ability in a survival type situation. I forsee with the the many years of combined experience of my instructor cadre, and Reno aerobatic flight instructor, an opportunity to expand the field of knowledge in high risk survival application. My instructor cadre is complemented and very honored to have former U.S. Military retired and former active duty experienced survival instructors on hand more than willing to share the knowledge they have gained and endured through both trial experiences and what may be considered the highest value training doctrine in the world.

Any time a pilot, a hiker, hunter, or even a novice explorer must first consider before taking on any adventure, must first and always be, "am I prepared and confident?" With an opportunity to learn the very basics and up to the most advanced survival techniques from those who know it well, is hardly an opportunity one would want to pass up. There are too few options in the aviation industry for pilots to obtain hands on knowledge in the coveted art of wildland survival. I hope with the help of my close associates and the Aerobatic Company and Flight School, Inc, we can offer another avenue of opportunity for folks to learn this information in the hopes of saving precious lives and resources in the future.
