As recent weather events around our country remind us, a good understanding of weather is crucial to aviation safety. This is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your knowledge about Terminal Area Forecast and Winter Weather Patterns plus learn something new.
As the seasons change, so do the weather hazards. Join us as we expand our understanding about weather in an effort to mitigate the risk associated with flying in rapidly changing weather. New in-flight weather technology is a fantastic aid, but it is only as good as the users understanding of the information. Come and refresh that knowledge and have your questions answered by the weather experts from the National Weather Association.
This seminar is scheduled for Saturday October 15, 2011, at the Southern Museum of Flight from 10:00 am until 1:00pm and will kick off the week long National Weather Association’s 36th annual meeting held this year in Birmingham, AL. Weather experts from around the country will be attending this years NWA symposium to analyze our numerous recent weather events, discuss new technology and collaborate with industry experts.
Special thanks to the National Weather Association and The Southern Museum of Flight for hosting this event.
