Brief Description:
Special Agents Kevin Hogg and his partner David Gates from the FBI Airport Resident Agency at LAX will present the mission and activities of the FBI in General Aviation Security. They will describe the function of the Evidence Response and Major Aircraft Incidence handling teams. The talk will also cover the most recent threat of Green Laser incidents as this is a huge growing problem across the board to commercial and general aviation.

Special Agents Kevin Hogg and his partner David Gates from the FBI Airport Resident Agency at LAX will return to Big Bear to update us on the activity’s of the FBI in General Aviation. Agent Hogg is an ex-Navy pilot where he flew H3 Sea King Helicopters for 8 years. He has been with the FBI for 13 years and assigned at LAX for 11 years. David Gates has been assigned to LAX for the past 14 year, 6 years with US Customs and 8 years with the FBI. David describes their job as Aviation Specialists. They serve on the Evidence Response and Major Aircraft Incidence handling teams.  They will describe the function of the Evidence Response and Major Aircraft Incidence handling teams. They will use recent criminal investigations and terrorist incidences as examples of their work. They have a wealth of interesting and crazy stories to tell as well as a message for us on what we can do about security. They also plan to address the growing threat of green laser incidents in commercial and general aviation. They promise an interesting informative and entertaining evening.
