This presentation is designed to help local Certified Flight Instructors to build confidence in understanding when student pilots are ready for their solo flights. The presentation gets into specific challenges for students and instructors working within and around the Purdue University Airport environment. Lastly, the presentation serves as an introduction to the FAA Safety Team and the Wings Pilot Proficiency Program for the Certified Flight Instructors operating out of the Purdue University Airport who may not understand what this branch of the FAA does and what benefits it can provide.
