Brief Description:

Weather related accidents continue to result in the highest number of general aviation fatalities annualy. Pilot attitude (i.e.,overconfidence or I-can-do attitude) has been identified as a causal or contributing factor. This session will review weather-related accidents where the I-can-do attitude was evident and resulted in a negative outcome.  Additionally, we will discuss how to prevent yourself from becoming a victim of this fairly common behavior.
