 For a light general aviation aircraft in the U.S., a ramp check is a spot inspection by an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI). It can occur at virtually any airport and is intended to verify that both the pilot and aircraft comply with applicable regulations. How to prepare for each of the following.
