Brief Description:
Join us for A VIRTUAL cup of coffee, a donut, and a LIVE WEBINAR as as Elisa Taube Marfise, ASRS Program Manager, shares with us what it is like to spend 31 years working at the largest confidential incident reporting system in the world.
Did you know that the Aviation Safety Reporting System celebrated its 50th anniversary this year? Since its founding the ASRS has received more than 2.3 million voluntary, confidential reports describing safety issues, near misses, and close calls from aviation professionals. The FAA funds the program and provides incentives to report. NASA operates the system as an independent third–party, separate from enforcement or investigative bodies. ASRS fosters a culture of transparency, where learning from mistakes is routine.
Aviation safety is central here!
