Brief Description:

Join us for a discussion about NWS weather products available for pre-flight planning and learn how ZBW traffic management uses those products for strategic ATC planning.

We will take a look at an overview of NWS and NWS web pages including Aviation Weather Center web pages and local forecast office pages.  We will also have an overview of typical aviation hazards, including those specific to summer time with an emphasis on thunderstorms and safety information to go along with this.  We will then take a look at local hazards and how they have caused incidents in the past.
