Brief Description:

This two hour seminar is designed for the Commercial Flight Instructor (CFI) and the pilots aspiring to be Flight Instructors. First we will review the new CFI Renewal Process. Second, we will  discuss a module in the Human Factors Series by considering how technology and automation has advanced aviation but changed the way people interact with their aircraft. We will discuss methods to safely and effectively use this automation. Finally we will discuss challenges and opportunities for the use of technology and how this plays into the leadership role for the CFI to help students establish a mindset for continued proficiency.
