Brief Description:

Understanding how aircraft systems work is important to problem-solving mechanical issues. Many new student pilots have no experience with anything related to an engine or how things work, making it difficult to assess a problem or make proper decisions when a mechanical issue arises. This seminar will start by giving you simple explanations of the mechanical things that will help you relate and remember better how things work. After that, you'll learn how to solve problems mechanical issues when called upon.

Speaker Bio:

Joe StandleyJoe Standley, owner of Pilot Flight Training Courses at Lake in the Hills Airport, has been flying for over 30 years and has over 10,000 of dual instruction given. Most of the training done is by low time, Inexperienced instructors, whose sole purpose is to build hours for an airline job,?? leaves????? the student missing out on important knowledge of how to be a safe pilot. Joe has been on AOPA's top instructors list the last seven years, his school is top in the AOPA Great Lakes region.
