Title:
You Earned Your Private Pilot Certificate Whats Next? - Marc Epner - Chicago 99s Aviation Expo 2025
Topic:
Private Pilot Certificate Accomplished. Now What? What’s Next?
Brief Description:
You worked hard to achieve your dream of flight. You did what few will accomplish in their lifetime. But what's next? If you're not trying to make a career out of aviation, data suggests you will walk away from General Aviation. It's easy to get lost in the reasons for stopping, but people rarely think about the reasons for continuing. Let's talk about how to get back on a path of continuous progress toward your goals and dreams and the benefits of doing so.
Speaker Bio:
Marc Epner started his love affair with aviation as a young boy. After earning his private pilot license in 1976, he lost his medical in 1979. He didn’t step back in a GA airplane for 25 years. A chance flight in 2004 reminded him how much he loved flying and got him back and a path to taking his skills to the next level. Marc has accumulated over 2700 hours, earned multiple ratings, co-founded Leading Edge Flying Club at Chicago Executive Airport, purchased a Cirrus SR22, and started a podcast, "SimpleFlight Radio and now has a YouTube Channel, "Passion For Flying."
