Title:
Landing Gear Systems Safety Seminar
Topic:
Landing Gear Systems
Brief Description:
All pilots, from student to experienced, are invited to join us for a Safety Seminar on Landing Gear Systems Safety, hosted by the Arkansas Flight Safety Cooperative and the North Little Rock EAA Chapter. Our key speaker, Adam Boyd, a local CFI, DPE, and C-130 Instructor Pilot, will guide a discussion on retractable landing gear systems found in general aviation aircraft. Topics will include potential failure modes, alternate and emergency gear extension methods, and insights from case studies of accidents in Arkansas caused by landing gear failures or improper use.
This seminar is designed to be accessible to pilots at all experience levels, providing valuable education on complex aircraft systems in a way that benefits even student pilots.
The North Little Rock EAA Chapter will also be providing a meal for $15 per head, so come for the education and stay for the fellowship! Ramp space is available for those flying in.
