Lucas Silva is originally from Brazil and moved to the United States at the age of 9. He developed a passion for aviation at just 4 years old, collecting airplane models and attending air shows. Lucas earned an Associate of Science degree in Advanced Commercial Aviation from Cypress College in Cypress, CA. He started his aviation career as a flight instructor at Aerodynamic Aviation before becoming a First Officer at Spirit Airlines. He is also an active member and volunteer for the Latino Pilot Association, mentoring aspiring professional pilots.
