This presentation will discuss flying in the Colorado mountains and weather issues that should be considered.

Brief Description:
Colorado's airports experience high density altitudes, even along the Front Range, so pilots must plan for the decreased aircraft performance they will find. The mountains also cause unexpected weather conditions that are often hazardous to aircraft. We will give a brief overview of these and other things to consider when planning a trip to the Colorado high country.
