Brief Description:
Strictly speaking, a postmortem is the examination of a body to determine it's cause of death. But isn't an aircraft accident investigation simply the postmortem of a crash?
Let's conduct the postmortem of an actual flight with a detailed examination of the individual components of the event, to include how human factors influenced the outcome. Perhaps we can use what we learn to perform a premortem before our next flight and avoid an accident.
