Brief Description:
Do you want to know how to talk to ATC better? This seminar will cover the tips and tricks to safely operating in the national airspace system – VFR or IFR – so that you can make the most of the services available. We will cover how to get VFR flight following, filing flight plans, how to pick up and cancel IFR, how to file a PIREP, how to use a GCO, what weather ATC sees, and a behind the scenes look at what controllers do.

The FAA Safety Center is centrally located on the EAA AirVenture grounds on the South side of the control tower. We are the large tan building with the rooftop deck facing the runway. Forums entrance is on the west side of the building.
