Brief Description:

Regardless of your pilot experience, from student through professional or just curious about the operations of aircraft in the Houston airspace, this is an excellent opportunity to learn and interact with Holly Cron who is a  Houston ARTCC NATCA Pilot/Controller, John Henry Perez Houston, TRACON NATCA Pilot/Controller, and Carl Robinson, Air Traffic Control Manager, SGR Tower. 

The correlation between ATC and pilot procedures and responsibilities in an emergency will be discussed. This will be a review for pilots from the FARs and the AIM correlating it to ATC responsibilities that some pilots may not be aware.
