Brief Description:

This should be a very interesting presentation for any pilot planning on flying the Hudson River Exclusion. Topics covered will include: the best time to make the flight, different type of aircraft that may be encountered, distractions to avoid, congestion in the area of the Verrazano Bridge and the Statue of Liberty and the hazards this produces, possible turbulence from buildings, overtaking and being overtaken by other aircraft.

With respect to executing the flight, topics to be addressed will include: required training, overheads depicting routes, airspace, and reporting points. These will identify what the pilot will need to know in order to conduct the flight from either the North or South.
