Title:
Fly the Aircraft First
Topic:
Prioritizing Cockpit Control And Dealing With Distractions
Date and Time:
Friday, October 13, 2023, starting at 18:30 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Dennis Miller, CFI, and 2023 National FAASTeam Representative of the Year
Brief Description:

NTSB accident data indicates that pilots in high stress situations who become distracted have a tendency to lose control of their aircraft and crash, often with fatal results. This presentation emphasizes maintaining proper perspective and prioritizing keeping the aircraft under positive control to lessen the likelihood of loss of control issues.

FLY THE AIRCRAFT FIRST is the hallmark of an excellent pilot. This goal may be accomplished through training, discipline and leadership.
