Title:
After the Crash Survival Skills
Topic:
Off-Site Landing Survival Skills for Aviators
Speaker(s):
Chuck Crinnian, MD
Brief Description:
All aircraft commanders need to have an understanding of what to do after an off-airport arrival, a topic that is minimally discussed. This includes initial actions, first aid, optimizing shelters, communications, and addressing environmental challenges. This discussion will get pilots thinking about how to plan in advance and be equipped for such an emergency.
