Remote ID regulations are going into effect for all operators on September 16, 2023.  There is a lot of concern about how operators will comply and especially recreational flyers in FRIAs.Vic Moss of the DSPA is an expert on the regulation and will discuss compliance requirements and what is available now for operators to comply.

Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) are becoming more commonplace in all areas of the country.

The regular meetings of Mountain West UAS are intended to bring sUAS owners, operators and interested parties together discuss many aspects of UAS.  Our typical agenda includes the following:

  • Recent News and Developments in the industry
  • Legal and Legislative activities pertinent to UAS operations
  • A safety or educational topic
  • Networking and socialization
