Brief Description:

Distance - Maximum range speed
- Greatest distance covered for altitude lost
- Often referred to as best glide speed
- Roughly half way between Vx & Vy
- Speed Increases with weight
Minimum sink speed - Lowest rate of descent
- Slightly slower than maximum range speed
- Rarely cited in POH
Experiment with your CFI 
- Best glide speed and attitude.  Note sink rate.

Meeting in Chickasha Municipal airport terminal bldg.  If you drive, park in the short term parking next to the green terminal building. 
Walk through gate in the NW corner of parking lot.
We will have a couple pizza's and bottled water about 6 pm and a meeting at 6:30.
Prior to attending a safety seminar please review and abide by current CDC, State and Local health guidelines.
